About Sameer Breeders

A dairy legacy built in the Githunguri highlands.

For years, farmers across Kenya and East Africa have trusted us for the genetics, feeding, and support that turn a herd into a thriving business.

Our story

From a highland farm to a name farmers trust.

Sameer Breeders Ltd grew from a simple conviction: that Kenyan farmers deserve dairy cattle that genuinely perform. Set in Githunguri, Kiambu County — the heartland of Kenya’s dairy industry — our farm has become known for one thing above all: cows that produce 45 to 50 litres of milk a day.

That reputation was not built overnight. It comes from years of careful breeding, disciplined selection, and a feeding programme refined season after season. Every heifer, cow, and bull we sell carries the genetics — and the records — behind that yield.

Today our stock and services reach beyond Kenya into Tanzania, Uganda, and the wider East African market — helping a new generation of farmers build herds that pay.
